G'dayWelcome to the Mooza Blue Web Template for FrontPage 98 and 2000.(Written for FrontPage 2000) This web template will
work correctly in FrontPage 98 and FrontPage 2000. Why Bill, @#%*#! why? This is a Microsoft documented FrontPage 2000 "bug" Please visit here
to see what you can do to this theme by adding text or a logo to
the extra graphics. You can do it right here in FrontPage
by clicking on the graphic and then selecting A
(add text) from the image editing toolbar below. (tutorial). Please note: This theme's template is made from many tables who's cells have background pictures to "fill in the gaps" when a theme's components (Banner or Navigation bars) are not used and for when the page is viewed with high resolution monitors. Please be aware that a table cell MUST have some content (text, picture, component or even 2 or more empty key spaces will do) for it's background picture to display correctly in the Netscape browser. So........ If you remove a cell's content be sure to replace it with something else. I recommend that you insert the cell's actual background picture into the cell itself because then the cell will retain it's height and / or width size. Ok. Frontlook AppletThis page has a Frontlook
Applet (Series 2) below the banner. If you wish not to use it just click it and delete
it. The applet is contained in a table cell which has a
background image. DJScrollerApplet Features
Please click here for applet instructions. "At DecafJava you'll find an
assortment of Applets, Applications, and Tips for
creating your web pages. The applet collection continues
to grow, and like "Dilberts" creator, I find
that the best ideas come from my Email. Both DJScroller
and the new version of my DJTextMenu
applet came from customer inputs. Free and complete
versions of all our Applets are available for download. Ken Rigoni Very ImportantIt's very difficult to get a theme such as Mooza Blue to work within both IE and Netscape browsers. Basically what works in one browser doesn't necessarily work in the other, especially table content. I had a Hell of a job getting this theme to work in FrontPage and both browsers. It has been thoroughly tested and I GUARANTEE that it will work for you too so long as you only change the page's content and DO NOT remove any of the FrontPage Components (Banner, Navigation bar, Hit Counter, Frontlook Applets etc.) or graphics. Include Page This web uses
"Include Pages" for the top, bottom,
advertisement buttons and
right hand side of each page. Display a page on another pageYou can display an HTML page on another page in the web, allowing you to maintain separate pages. For example, to display a copyright notice on several pages in a web, create one page that contains the copyright notice, and include that page on other pages in the web. When you update the copyright notice, you simply update that one page; all other pages that include the copyright page will be automatically updated. Note This feature only works for pages in a web.
A fantastic feature don't you think? Not to mention making your web pages download much faster. I made this Web Template because this is a fairly complicated theme. By using this template you shouldn't have
any trouble creating a new web with the Mooza Blue
theme and all the "extras" automatically
applied for you. It will look just like this one (for those
reading this on my website). Firstly please click File | Preview in Browser (you might have to connect to the Internet) to have a look at this web to see how it all works. Now you can work out what pages you want to add or delete. How to delete a page from this web.Open the Navigation View by pressing the
button named "Navigation" in the
toolbar to the left. How to add a page to this web.Firstly you will notice that the titles of each page that are on the Same Level as this one in this web appear on the buttons on the navigation bar to the left. This is because I've already dragged and dropped each page into the navigation view. Next we will add a new page to this web. In FrontPage 2000 press "File" and then press "New Page". You will now have a long list of page templates to choose from. Click "PV Mooza Blue" or if you want to use a template page that uses "Include Pages" for the top, bottom and right hand side like the rest of this web, use the template.htm page or any existing page from this web. Just add your own content to the page and then click File | Save As. Type in your page title and URL and click OK. Now go to Navigation View and add your new page to the navigation structure. Easy! You will notice that there is no banner
and buttons, just writing. Now save the new page and type in the URL as newpage.htm and type in the Title as New Page (you can name these anything you want). Open the Navigation View by clicking the Navigation button on the toolbar to the left. Then drag newpage.htm from the side panel into the main window and connect and drop it at your desired navigation level. That's all there is to it. I have made a detailed tutorial (FrontPage 98) with pictures and all on how to add new pages to the navigation structure. It's available here http://www.paulsfrontpagethemes.com/tutorial.htm Now double click on "New
Page" in the navigation view and this will open
and refresh the page in the main window.
If you double click on the vertical navigation bar to the left you will see that I have set it at "Same Level", "Vertical" and "Buttons". Please note: The navigation bars are set at various levels throughout this web to compensate for different page's navigation level. If you have a look at the navigation view again you will see that all the pages that are on the Same Level as this Read Me First page, their page titles appear on the left vertical navigation bar. This web's pages use nested tables with tilling background images so as to appear to stretch or shrink to accommodate any browser size. I recommend that a web made with the Mooza Blue theme and template be viewed by browsers set at 600 x 800. This web template has been thoroughly tested to work properly with both Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator versions 4 and higher browsers. For additional support
